- Provide Opportunities to Increase Skill Levels of all players and coaches – Use association coaches, bring coaches from other centres and provide a varied range of coaching & playing styles
- Provide Opportunities for players & coaches to reach representative level.
- Regain Premier League Status for the first team
- Retain full committee representation and continuity – Reduce exposure to risk re loss of key personnel
- Plan for replacement of clothing and equipment in budget and additional grounds for the future
- Aim to continue to be the best club in Christchurch – Obtain extra coaching techniques for players, enter teams in tournaments, host tournaments
- Work with the Regional organisation (Mainland) – Keep them informed of what your club is doing and forward all the relevant information to members from the regional and national organisations
- Increase Membership and Retention levels – Use local newspapers to publish events and successes, invite current members to bring along a friend, provide awareness through website & newsletters
- Target primary and intermediate schools in the area – Approach schools and other local youth organisations.
- Keep the club in a Strong Financial Position – check for optional funding agencies/sponsorship opportunities
- Provide a budget for the year and a regular measure against it
- Conduct Annual Events within the club and maintain a good social environment – Hold social events, tournaments, club day, end of season function
- Develop Good Family Involvement – Invite family members to club events
